It has been an exciting couple of months! Enrollment started and by February 2nd, we had 87% of MLA re-enrolled and about 8% of the remaining families said they were planning to return. We hosted the LALKC 7th/8th Grade Girls/Boys Basketball tournament. There were 6 boys teams, 8 girls teams, cheerleaders, fans, volunteers and many others who participated in the event. We held our Annual MLA Auc-tion last weekend. We had amazing participation, tremendous gener-osity, and great examples of what it means to be a servant of the Lord. During all of these events, the teachers continued to work diligently to educate our children and model Christian servitude to them as well. We are blessed with a wonderful MLA community and family.

There is still plenty of excitement ahead other than Spring Break.
•March 29th is Maundy Thursday. Mr. Maas and the 7th and 8th graders will be performing Stations of the Cross.
•April 15th from 2-4 MLA will hosting an Open House for pro-spective families. Talk it up!
•Doughnuts for Dad (April 25) and Muffins with Mom (May 16th)
•April 25-27 Scholastic Book Fair
•April 27th at 6:30 is MLA’s Spring Musical. 75th Anniversary of Rodgers and Hammerstein
•May 24th, Kindergarten & 8th Grade Graduation
•June 2nd is the MLA Golf Outing held at Liberty Hill Golf Course, 19808 State Highway H, Liberty, MO 64068

As Enrollment continues to take place. We are brainstorming for ways to share with others about the wonderful MLA community. One way that you can help is by sharing Facebook posts, inviting your friends to visit MLA to tour with Mrs. Martens and see the school in ac-tion. Word of mouth is an amazing gift.
