Extended Care

Daily Procedure:

• Before School Care (BSC) – Students are welcome to attend before school, starting at 7:00 am.    Students are dismissed from BSC @ 7:45 am.
  • In the morning, students will either go to before school care before 7:45 or be greeted by a teacher starting at 7:45.  
  • After School Care (ASC) runs from 3:00-5:30 on regular Monday through Friday. 
  • ASC – If your student has not been picked up by 3:15 pm, they will automatically go into ASC.
  • Please send a healthy snack for your child(ren).
  • A ring doorbell is located by the main entrance and will be used to notify the after-school care staff of your arrival.  You will be asked your name and who you are picking up.  
• Fees:
  • Daily BSC Cost is $2.50 for each student.
    • Arrive anytime between 7:00 – 7:45 am and the fee will be issued.
  • Daily ASC Cost is $2.50 for each ½ hour per student until pick up (no later than 5:30 pm unless prearrangements are made – late charges are applied if pick up is after 5:30 pm)
    • ASC begins at 3:00 pm
  • A minimum amount of income is needed to make this program viable, so If there is too low participation, fees may be increased to keep the program in place.
  • BSC or ASC cannot be used until the past-due balance is paid.
  • New extended care software was implemented in September. All families who will use extended care will register and will need to pay ahead.   
• Late Pickup Charges begins @ 5:31pm
  • The base fee is $10 and $1.00 per minute charged per student. 
  • Please call/text the ASC staff when you know you’ll be late. Late charges will still be implemented.
• Credit Card Payment Option
  • Credit card payment is accepted on the EZ School App or in the school office for extended care bills. 
  • There is a convenience fee charge on every transaction. 
• Location:
  • Before and After School Care is held in the lunchroom
    • Before School Care – student(s) are greeted by a teacher at the door and signed in. They will then go to where before school care is located.
    • After School Care – ring the Ring doorbell to pick up student(s).

Select the After Care tab from the left menu. Then you can see what your aftercare bill is on the Payments tab, via the left box. Click on all the instances to move them to the right box to be able to pay your bill via CC.

Credit Cards can by used in the system, there is a small transaction fee for credit cards. Cash or Check can still be turned into the office and no transaction fee is incurred. Please allow a few business days for your cash or check to show up in the EZ School Apps program.
