TEAM is our parent led organization that supports and works with our teachers and staff to help make MLA great! TEAM stands for Together Everyone Achieves More. TEAM organizes fundraisers throughout the year. Money collected through these fundraisers have paid for field trips, technology, and other areas of need.

All parents of MLA students are automatically apart of TEAM. Join us at our next event or meeting – details below.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered for KC Oktoberfest on October 3rd and 4th! We had 161.5 volunteer hours, which earned MLA TEAM $2,632. Mark your calendars for October 2nd and 3rd, 2026, for next year’s Oktoberfest.

Walkathon

Savers Clothing Drive

Save your soft items in large trash bags, we will be collecting items for our Savers FUNdrive later in November.

Butter Braids

In October we will start our Butter Braid fundraiser, with a delivery date in early November. Order forms are going home this week – they are due back to MLA November 4th. You can also utilize the online ordering by going to tinyurl.com/F25MLA. Look for an email from My Fundraising Place for more online information.
